About Sunset Drive-inThe Sunset Drive-in is a single screen drive-in theater located in Shinston, West Virginia. The Sunset drive-in is now the oldest remaining drive-in in West Virginia. It opened in 1947. It hosts a roadside cafe which is open throughout the year. It is a larger drive-in with a 70' wide screen and capacity for almost 700 cars. They are open seasonally from April thru September. Be aware that the Sunset Drive-in only accepts cash so leave the credit cards at home.
