On Friday, May 8th and Saturday, May 9th, the Mahoning Drive-In Theater asks& Will you go to the prom with us? The&.Horror Prom? Join us as we head back to High School for 2 deadly doubleheaders!Choose your date, wear your finest (w/ a horror twist), pin on your corsages and hop in the limo as we present two nights of 35mm tales of proms gone wrong, on the big, BIG screen!On Friday night we enter the gym with Stephen Kings classic tale of awkward telekinetic youth, CARRIE (1976), followed by a super secret mystery date that wont be revealed until it hits the screen (presented from the digital booth)!On Saturday night, bring a chaperone when we ratchet up the terror with a twin trip to the deadly dance floor with Jamie Lee Curtis up against a high school slasher in PROM NIGHT (1980), followed by its unrelated sequel, HELLO MARY LOU: PROM NIGHT 2 (1987), in which a long-dead prom queen returns from the dead to enact her tiara-topped revenge!Plus! Dress up in your fearsome finest prom pomp as we award the best dressed & crown a Horror Prom King and Queen each night!And what is a Prom without music?!
